Secure the Positioners
Unfold the cover like a sock—seat belt Positioners will drop down, bring cover back up and fasten Positioners with Velcro tabs to keep them upright.
Fit it in the car
Place on a forward-facing seat with a 3 point seatbelt. Lap belt goes under the red positioners. The shoulder belt goes through the red clip.
Add the Impact Shield
For extra protection, slide the Impact Shield onto the diagonal seat belt. It helps protect the abdomen in the event of a crash by guiding the belt away from the stomach area.

Is the cover removable and washable?
Yes, the seat cover is fully removable and machine washable. Please refer to the care label for specific washing instructions.
Is this booster seat safe for air travel?
R129 backless Booster Seats are not certified for use on airplanes, as they rely on a 3-point seatbelt for proper installation, which airplanes do not provide.
What is an impact shield
The impact shield is a padded cushion used with our booster seat to improve safety. It is positioned low down on the diagonal part of the vehicle seatbelt and works with the seatbelt to spread crash forces evenly across the body, reducing pressure on the chest and abdomen. This helps prevent injury and keeps the seatbelt in the correct position during a collision.

What is a shoulder belt positioning clip?
A shoulder belt positioning clip is for comfort only and positions the vehicle seatbelt across the centre of the chest away from the face and neck. This prevents the vehicle seatbelt being a discomfort to the child, often resulting in the child putting the vehicle seatbelt under the arm or behind the back, which is extremely dangerous.
How does it pack away?
It’s telescopic—meaning it slides into itself like a telescope. Once packed, the foam seat cover turns into the carry bag. One smooth move, no extra storage hassle.
What age or size is TelePort for?
It’s made for children who fit within the R129.04 booster seat guidelines—typically age 6 and up, at least 125cm tall. (If you're not sure, just give us a shout—we'll help.)

Why can’t I buy the BubbleBum booster seat in the EU anymore?
The EU has now fully transitioned to the updated R129.04 regulation for child car seats. Since BubbleBum was approved under the earlier R44.04 standard, we can no longer sell it within EU countries. It’s still legal and safe in places where R44 is accepted—just not here under the new rules.
Can I still buy BubbleBum outside the EU?
Yes! BubbleBum is still legal, safe, and available for sale in countries like the UK and USA, where R44.04 is still an approved standard. Same great booster—just different local rules
How do I know if I’m in an R129-only country?
