Is BubbleBum still safe?

Yes! BubbleBum remains fully certified and safe for use in countries where R44.04 is still valid—including the UK and USA. TelePort simply meets the newer standard now required across the EU.

Why did you create TelePort?

We wanted to give our EU families a booster seat that complies with the latest regulations—without losing any of the travel-friendliness or safety we’re known for. TelePort is that next step.

Where is TelePort legal to use?

TelePort meets R129.04 regulations, making it perfect for the EU and anywhere that requires this standard. It’s also available in the UK and USA, right alongside BubbleBum.

Is the cover removable and washable?

Yes, the seat cover is fully removable and machine washable. Please refer to the care label for specific washing instructions.

Is this booster seat safe for air travel?

R129 backless Booster Seats are not certified for use on airplanes, as they rely on a 3-point seatbelt for proper installation, which airplanes do not provide.

What is an impact shield?

The impact shield is a padded cushion used with our booster seat to improve safety. It is positioned low down on the diagonal part of the vehicle seatbelt and works with the seatbelt to spread crash forces evenly across the body, reducing pressure on the chest and abdomen. This helps prevent injury and keeps the seatbelt in the correct position during a collision.

What age or size is TelePort for?

It’s made for children who fit within the R129.04 booster seat guidelines—typically age 6 and up, at least 125cm tall. (If you're not sure, just give us a shout—we'll help.)

Why can’t I buy the BubbleBum booster seat in the EU anymore?

The EU has now fully transitioned to the updated R129.04 regulation for child car seats. Since BubbleBum was approved under the earlier R44.04 standard, we can no longer sell it within EU countries. It’s still legal and safe in places where R44 is accepted—Just not purchasable

Can I still buy BubbleBum outside the EU?

Yes! BubbleBum is still legal, safe, and available for sale in countries like the UK and USA, where R44.04 is still an approved standard. Same great booster—just different local rules
